Love Falls is located below a suspension bridge on the North Fork of the Yuba River between Sierra City and Bassetts. The bridge allows the pacific Crest Trail to cross the river which can be quite deadly early in the season with high water volume. From the trailhead location shown above, follow the trail less than 1/2 mile down to the bridge and falls. It is a easy trail down most of the way except the last 100 yards from the trail down to the base of the falls. Be careful of fast water and slippery rocks.
